Mr. James J. St. Hilaire's Obituary
James J. St. Hilaire, 78, a resident of North Andover, MA, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2019 at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.
Born and raised in Lawrence, James was educated in the Lawrence schools and was a graduate of Central Catholic High School. He then went on to graduate from Villanova University with his Bachelor of Science Degree. James worked in Data Processing for the government for many years until he found a position as a Computer Teacher at Greater Lowell Regional Technical High School from where he retired. He enjoyed fishing, spending summers at the Cape and the beach as well as his trips to Caribou Lake in Maine. James loved his New England professional sports teams as well as his college teams. He was a very avid Baseball fan.
The son of the late Wilfred and Mildred (Donlon) St. Hilaire as well as the widower of Mary M. (Mahoney) St. Hilaire, family members include his son Robert J. St. Hilaire and his wife Amy of Brookline, NH, daughters: Patricia St. Hilaire of North Andover, MA, Elizabeth St. Hilaire of Dracut, MA, Maureen Bell and her husband Michael of Brookline, NH, a daughter / granddaughter Jacqueline Bowes of Haverhill, MA, as well as 15 other grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. James is also survived by his siblings: Albert St. Hilaire of Hadley, MA, Catherine (St. Hilaire) Braggs of Kingston, NH and Maryann (St. Hilaire) McCartney of Osterville, MA. He was the brother of the late Dorothy Murphy.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, March 22, 2019 from 3 to 7 P.M. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 35 Merrimack St., North Andover.
