James A. McEvoy's Obituary
James Augustine McEvoy, 93, a lifelong resident of North Andover, Massachusetts passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 7, 2024, with his daughter, Jane, by his side at the Edgewood in North Andover.
He was born on October 25, 1930 in North Andover, son of the late Joseph and Bridget (Sullivan) McEvoy. James was educated at Center Grammar School and was a graduate of Johnson High School in 1950. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict and later worked for over 30 years as a Sales Representative for Nabisco Food Company.
James enjoyed gardening and loved sports. He was very proud of his Irish Heritage.
He is survived by his daughter, Jane and her husband Dean Sgouros of Groveland, MA.
As well as several nieces and nephews.
His family would like to thank the Hospice Services for the excellent care given to James while in their care.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 35 Merrimack Street, No. Andover, Massachusetts. His funeral service will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. in the Funeral Home and his burial will take place at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in No. Andover, MA.
