My sincere sympathy to all of Jim's family including his daughters, son and grandchildren. He was a wonderfully warm man with a big heart for his family. I remember most the huge vegetable garden in the backyard at Perry St and trips to the Senior Center, his intrigue with politics and his sense of humor. Jim was special.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. When you lose a Father, it is like losing the foundation of your family. With love and prayer, over time , healing will begin and your family will strengthen that foundation in other ways. God Bless you all.
Jim's HOT TOPIC was titled "Close them down" and Warren's was titled "Live with it." Thusly, two writers to the Eagle Tribune spelled out their opinions on a matter probably long since forgotten. However, what can't be easily forgotten is the ever lasting impression Jim Cassidy, in his capacity as a human being, made on his God, his Family and his Community. So many memories and so much kindness. His wonderful artwork and treasured garden...huge squampkins...Christmas, Thanksgiving and swimming in the pool. His family.
