James Michael Brady's Obituary
James Michael Brady, 49, a resident of Lawrence, died on Friday, October 11, 2019.
He was born in Methuen on January 24, 1970 to Joseph F. and Margaret M. (Hennessey) Brady. He was educated in Lawrence Public Schools and he also attended Lawrence Vocational Technical School. Later, he went on to work as a Construction Foreman in California. Jimmy had a great sense of humor, and he loved life and his family. He was a kind soul with a big
heart. Beginning in 2010, he had a long battle with cancer and then, after a lifelong effort to overcome addiction, he succumbed to it on October 11, 2019.
He is survived and loved by his mother Peggy Brady Martin of Lawrence, daughter Jessica Whitley of North Andover, son Asher James Brady of Surrey, British Columbia, grand-daughter Haley of North Andover, brother Joseph C. Brady and his wife Mary of Lawrence, sister Kathleen Brady of Berkeley, California, brother Shawn P. Brady of Methuen, uncle Brian Hennessey and his wife Ellen of New Rochelle, New York as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was also the much loved nephew of the late Arthur Hennessey.

A funeral mass will take place on Friday, October 18, 2019 at 11:00AM in St. Patrick Church, 118 South Broadway, Lawrence, MA, 01843. Burial will follow in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in North Andover
