What a great man! "Dad" and I had a friendship sharing our love of guns, knives, work ethic, shooting and so much more. Many, many laughs! I always loved to see him on the job so we could talk buisness for a short time and shoot the shit the rest of the time. He will always be in my heart.

Dear Andy (aka Mike) and family
So sorry for your loss. I remember your dad from the couple of times I attended his huge summer parties at your family’s home in Lawrence. He made my husband and I feel like part of the family . He was a very generous, kind, and loving man. He will be missed so much. May he Rest In Peace. And May you and your family find peace and joy in your memories of him.

Share just one memory? Pretty much impossible. There was the time you had to get me out of the tree because I was stuck, or when you yelled at us for flushing Mikey's Playmobil men down the toilet or how you used to sing "Sugar Pie honeybun" and add your own comical lyrics, just to Jane a few.
Thank you for being a Father to me for the last 45 years. I'm so glad we got to spend some time together at the end. I know you're with Laurelle and Dad and you know how very much we love and miss you.
We met Andy through his brother Joe who was our patient. Andy took such good care of his brother who was not the most easy person in the world! Andy had patience, love and good judgement. He moved Joe into his "carriage house" when he could no longer live alone. Joe was so proud to live with him. He took care of Joe until he passed with love and dignity for him. I'm sure Joe greeted him with open arms.
He also helped keep an old furnace running in our office.
He was a great man and I am sure that he will be missed. Our condolences to his entire family.
