It is with great sadness and heavy hearts, the Lawrence Veterans Service Office shares that on December 1, 2020, the City of Lawrence lost a National treasure, a WWll Hero, fellow brother in arms and a dear friend, Mr. Herman Leo Read Obituary
Sgt Herman Bazin will always be remembered, he loved his daily walks to Walgreens with his homemade pushcart, he also loved his breakfast at Sunnyside dinner, & a small coffee with a glazed donut from Dunkin donuts. He loved being in his home in Lawrence. Thank you for your service, Mr B.
