Gladys Ruth (Beveridge) Hidish's Obituary
Gladys Ruth (Beveridge) Hidish, 72, a resident of Methuen, died on Sunday, May 10, 2020 at the Holy Family Hospital.
Born on August 8, 1947 in Lawrence MA. Daughter of the late Donald M Beveridge and Gladys M. (Andrew) Beveridge. Educated in Lawrence local schools and a graduate of Lawrence High School class of 1967
She worked at the IRS in customer service at the Lawrence/Andover/& Methuen locations for 44yrs.
She volunteered in the Methuen Public school system while her children attended. She volunteered as the secretary for CCD at St. Theresa's parish in Methuen also while her children attended. She was the carpool Mom and sports Mom for many years. She loved playing the slot machine's at Foxwoods. Spent two months every year in Aruba for many years!! She loved the beach, rum & cokes, coffee and Bailey's. Eating at her favorite restaurant T-Bones. She always worried about everyone else before herself she enjoyed being there for others. She loved her grandchildren very much they were her heart and soul. She spent a lot of her time with them. She joins the family's beloved dog Princess who passed away 4 years ago.
She will be sadly missed by her Husband of 50 years Victor A Hidish. Her two loving children Andrew V Hidish wife Katherine (Geiger) Hidish of Hagerstown MD, Laura A (Hidish)Pavone husband Nicholas Pavone from Manchester NH. Sister Donna (Beveridge) Hurley her late husband Joseph Hurley, Brother Donald Beveridge and wife Carol Beveridge, sister Dorothy (Beveridge) Matthews and late husband Byron Matthews, sister Beverly Beveridge and partner John Conners. Grandchildren Layla, Mariusz, Angelica, & Nicholas. Several cousins niece's & nephew's.
