Geraldine F. Shea's Obituary
Geraldine F. Shea, daughter of the late Police Captain and Mrs. Michael F. Shea, passed away on Monday, February 13th, 2024 at the High Pointe House at Tufts Medical Care in Haverhill, MA.
Geraldine was a life-long Lawrence resident. She graduated from Saint Patrick's High School and attended McIntosh Business School and the Stenotype Institute of Boston. She worked for 47 years as a legal secretary for attorneys in Lawrence until her retirement in 2002. She attended St. Laurence's Church in Lawrence until its closing and then St. Lucy's Church in Methuen.
She was predeceased by her parents, her sister, Margaret Waterman and her niece, Karen Waterman. She is survived by dear friends, Joan and Alex Figueroa of Haverhill, and Frances Boudreau of Methuen. Also several cousins including Kathleen Sheehy of Haverhill and Edward and Marie Monroe of Methuen.
The family wishes to thank the High Pointe Hospice House staff for the wonderful care they gave Geraldine.
At her request there will be no calling hours. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass in St. Lucy's Church in Methuen on Thursday, February 15th, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Her burial will follow in Saint Mary's Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
