George M. Smart, Jr.'s Obituary
LAWRENCE – George M. Smart, Jr., 47, of Lawrence, passed away on May 7, 2026.
Born on September 21, 1979, in Methuen, Massachusetts, George was educated in the local schools and attended Essex Agricultural School. He was employed by Amazon in North Andover, where he was a dedicated and hardworking employee.
George will be remembered for his kind heart, loyalty to those he loved, and the friendships he maintained throughout his life. He cherished time spent with family and friends and leaves behind many lasting memories.
He is survived by his beloved son, Code Paul Smart; his mother, Joyce Smart; his sister, Patricia and wife Alli Doucette; as well as many close relatives and lifelong friends.
George was predeceased by his father, George Smart, Sr., and several aunts and uncles.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA .
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Boys & Girls Club.
