George K. Howshan's Obituary
George K. Howshan, 84, of Lawrence, Massachusetts passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022 at the Lawrence General Hospital.
He was born on June 20, 1938 in Worcester, Massachusetts, son of the late Jenny Keen. George was educated in the local schools and served in the United States Army. He worked for over 40 years as a Butcher for Boston Lamb and Veal. He was the treasurer for the American Training Company for many years. George was a parishioner of Corpus Christi Parish, Holy Rosary Church in Lawrence.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved spending time with his family.
George’s family members include his wife Katherine M. (Kulick) Howshan
His children: Karen Howshan, Peter & Jane Blanchette, Bill & Sue Howshan, and Joe & Jodi Howshan
His grandchildren: Andrew & Mikaela Blanchette, Michael Blanchette and his fiancé Siobhan Loughlin, Hannah Clark, Kenny Howshan, Joey Howshan, and Samantha Howshan. As well as several loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
Relatives and Friends are invited to call on Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc. 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA. His funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 7, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. in Corpus Christi Parish, Holy Rosary Church in Lawrence, MA.
