George G. Cormier's Obituary
George G. Cormier, 97, a resident of Tewksbury, Massachusetts, formerly a long time resident of Lawrence, Massachusetts passed away on Wednesday, February 5th, 2025 in Tewksbury. He was born on April 15th, 1927 in Springfield, MA. He was the son of the late George E. and Gilberta L. (Laurient) Cormier. George was educated in Springfield, MA., later graduating from University of Bridgeport, CT, Mechanical Engineer. He served in the United States Navy from May 1945 - August 1949. George was a former member of Sacred Heart Church in Lawrence, MA.
Husband of the late Claire Cormier and father of the late Mark Cormier.
His family members include his daughter Lynne White and her husband David of Fort Myers, FL,
His Grandchildren Vi White of Dorchester, MA and Dawn Rickman and her husband Jason of Wilmington, NC.
His Great Granddaughter Emerson Rickman of Wilmington, NC as well as several nieces and nephews.
Burial will take place in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Andover, MA.
