Frances Marie Lahey's Obituary
Frances M. Lahey, age 73, passed away peacefully the morning of Monday, February 10th, 2025, at High Pointe House in Haverhill, MA. She was born and raised in Andover and received a BA in Social
Work from Merrimack College in 1974 . After college, Fran worked as an ISW at
Academy Manor where she provided a compassionate 45 years of service to the greater
Andover area.
Fran was the absolute model of a humanitarian, guided purely by love and service for those in need, whether near or far. She was an incredible cook, and you could consider yourself blessed if she knew your favorite meal, because it guaranteed you'd get the best dish of your life at least once a year.
She was armed with a sharp, quick wit that would inevitably smack you in the face after the time it took for you to actually get the joke. Fran was a serious Boston sports fan, especially for her beloved Red Sox.
She is survived by her sister Catherine L. Garrison, a niece and nephew, Lisa M. Biello and Sean D. Lahey; and an enormous tapestry of family, friends and loved ones whom she has touched in the most profound way imaginable.
