Felix Ramos Montanez's Obituary
Felix Ramos Montanez, 89, a resident of Methuen, MA, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025, surrounded by his family at his residence.
Born in Patillas, Puerto Rico, Felix was educated in Puerto Rico and came to the Methuen area in 1997. While living in Puerto Rico, Felix had worked as an exterminator. He had the biggest sense of humor but was also a man of great faith.
Felix is survived by his wife of 62 years Luz M. Ramos, his children: Felix Ramos, Jr., Sammy Ramos, Hector Ramos, Javier Ramos and Luz O. Ramos, his brother Felix C. Ramos, and his grandchildren: Kriselle, Alexander, Hector, Jr., Delly, Javier, Xavier, Sammy, Jr., Bryan, Kevin, Jaznery and Vanessa Ramos. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at 12:00 noon in Saint Mary of the Assumption Church, 300 Haverhill Street, Lawrence, MA. Burial will follow in Saint Mary Cemetery, 29 Barker Street, also in Lawrence, MA. Relatives and friends may call on Friday, January 17, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, Massachusetts. Félix Ramón ha fallecido el día 11 de enero de 2025. El nació el 18 de noviembre de 1935 en el Bo. Marín, Patillas, Puerto Rico.
Antes de fallecer, Félix compartió su vida con su esposa , Luz María., por 62 años.
Le sobreviven sus hijos: Félix Jr., Sammy y su esposa Sheila, Hector y su esposa Maribel, Omayra y su esposo Luis Armando, Javier y su compañera Giselle.
Además sus nietos: Kriselle, Samito, Hectito, Alexander, Vanessa, Yavier, Deyllaneira, Bryan, Xavier, Kevin and Jaznery. También sus biznietos: Keyden, Damian, Dariselle y Keydriel.
Félix era el alma de nuestras reuniones familiares, que nunca fueron aburridas gracias a su buen sentido del humor. También fue un hombre de gran fe, y lo demostró con su entrega al servicio de nuestro Dios. Después de su cursillo de cristiandad en los años 70, Félix abrazó su cruz y dejó que Dios lo utilizara como su instrumento para pescar (su deporte favorito) almas para Dios.
Te amamos y te extrañaremos, pero vivirás en nuestros corazones, recordaremos los innumerables momentos alegres que nos regalaste. Anda y disfruta de tu mansión en el cielo y vela por nosotros desde el cielo.. Hasta que nos volvamos a encontrar.
