Evline Azzi Salhab's Obituary
Evline Azzi Salhab, 94, of Methuen, formerly of Lebanon, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2019. She was born to the late George and Fadwa (Aoun) Azzi of Damour, Lebanon. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Melhem and Eileen (Coorey) Salhab of Methuen; grandson Khalil Salhab; granddaughter Loubna (Salhab) Garozzo and fiancé Steve Johnson, and great-granddaughter Gabriella Garozzo. She also leaves behind beloved family in Lebanon and Canada. Sadly, she was predeceased by her late husband, Khalil Salhab, and her two sons, Sami and George Salhab. Evline was a homemaker throughout her life and loved to work in the kitchen preparing her delicious Lebanese dishes, especially grape leaves and kibbee. She had a loud, contagious laugh and always loved singing around the house. Her favorite thing to do was spend time with her great-granddaughter Gabriella. She will be truly missed by many. A private funeral mass celebration will be held for friends and family on Wednesday, August 28, at 10 am at St. Anthony’s Church in Lawrence, MA.
