Evangelina Fret's Obituary
Evangelina Fret, 73, a resident of Lawrence, MA, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, in the comfort of her own home surrounded by her family. Born in Patillas, Puerto Rico, Evangelina has been a resident of Lawrence since 1978. She had worked for over 30 years at Raytheon in Andover. Evangelina loved to fish and was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Lawrence.
The widow of Manuel Fret Pabon, Evangelina is survived by her son Manuel Fret, Jr., of Lawrence, MA, a daughter Bernadette Santos also of Lawrence, 11 grandchildren: Jonathan Fret, Nathan Burney, Evanjennette Sanchez, Ivelisse Andino, Randi Burney, Jessica Maria Burney, Da’Shaun Morin, Samuel, Jr. Guzman, Breanna Jackson, Hermon Jackson, Jr., Taina Olivia Toro and 7 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her 4 sisters: Irene Ruiz, Venancia Torres, Vidalina Rivera and Juanita Molina, 3 brothers: Felipe Ruiz, Julio Ruiz, and Genaro Ruiz as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. in St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 300 Haverhill St., Lawrence, MA. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, also in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, November 4, 2022, from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA.
