Ethel Mary (Golden) Belanger's Obituary
Ethel Mary (Golden) Belanger, 91, of Lawrence, MA., passed away on Thursday, April 20th, 2017 at the Mary Immaculate Nursing and Restorative Center in Lawrence, MA.
She was born on December 10th, 1925 in Lawrence. Ethel was the daughter of the late Michael and Isabelle (Driver) Golden. Ethel was educated at St. Rita's Grammar School and was a graduate of Lawrence High School. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish - Saint Theresa's Church in Methuen, MA.
Wife of the late J. G. Philip Belanger, the couple married on June 26, 1948. Early in the couple's marriage, Ethel was employed at Raytheon in Andover. Leaving Raytheon in 1965 to be a homemaker, Ethel returned to the workforce in 1980 and retired in 1992 from Parlex in Methuen.
Her family members include her daughter Monica and son-in-law Stephen Jaskelevicus, two grandsons, Stephen G. and Michael P. Jaskelevicus, brother Joseph Golden of Groveland, brothers and sisters-in-laws Ovila and Rita Cote of Haverhill and Raymond and Cecile Belanger of Methuen, Laren Smart of Lawrence and Alicia Belanger of Madrid, Spain. In addition, Ethel leaves several beloved nieces and nephews.
Ethel's family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the loving staff at Mary Immaculate Nursing and Restorative Center for the wonderful care given to Ethel.

Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 29th, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in Saint Michaels Church, 196 Main Street, North Andover, MA.
The burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Lazarus House in Lawrence, MA.
