Erma Rivera, 85 a resident of Lawrence, MA passed away on Friday, November 11, 2016 at the Lawrence General Hospital. Born in Patillas, Puerto Rico, Erma was educated in Puerto Rico and came to New York while in her 20's. She has lived in Lawrence for over 40 years. Erma Rivera worked as a Seamstress in Lawrence, MA for over 20 years. Members of Erma's family include: Her late husband Americo Rivera, daughters: Sarah Scarvaglieri of Salem, NH, Dielma Perez of Lawrence, MA and Carmen Elena Nunez of Lowell, MA. She is also survived by grandchildren: Mark Martinez, Brenda Martinez, Priscilla Nunez, Omar Nunez, Daniel Pena, Angel Perez, Shylean Perez, Jacqueline Gonzalez and Jessenia Gonzalez, as well as several great-grandchildren. Funeral Services and burial will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA.
