Ella Champy's Obituary
Ella Champy, 102 years died on Saturday February 4, 2023, at the Mary Immaculate Health/Care Services in Lawrence, MA.
Ella, born on September 22nd, 1920, was the daughter of Marguerite and Vincent DeFusco, And was educated in local Lawrence schools. She was a long-time talented businesswoman and owned and operated her own beauty salon. She was talented in other areas as well and enjoyed skiing, golf, yoga, sewing, knitting, and crocheting. Ella was married to Bernard Champy for over 50 years. He predeceased her in 2000.
She is survived by her son, Bob of New Hampshire and daughter, Bernice Murphy of Maine. Additionally, she will be missed by her grandchildren, Luke and Nicole and great grandson Stewart all of New Hampshire.
L spent many happy years at Mary Immaculate Health Care Facility Ann Lawrence and the family appreciates the loving care she enjoyed there.
A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday February 10, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Saint Mary of the assumption church St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 300 Haverhill St., Lawrence MA. 01841. burial services will follow in Saint Mary's Cemetery, Lawrence MA.
