Elizabeth A. Cavanaugh's Obituary
Elizabeth A. (Connor) Cavanaugh, 81, a resident of Methuen, MA passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at the Hannah Duston Long Term Health Care Center in Haverhill, MA.
Born in Lawrence, MA, Elizabeth was the daughter of the late Clement J. and Agnes (Hannon) Connor. She was educated in the Lawrence Schools graduating from the Bruce School and Lawrence High School. Elizabeth went on to receive her Masters Degree in education from the University of Lowell. She had worked in the Lawrence School System for some 24 years as a K thru 8 teacher. Elizabeth was a member of the Lawrence St. Patrick’s Parade Committee for many years. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, 45’s and gambling.
The widow of Joseph J. Cavanaugh, members of Elizabeth’s family include her children: Colleen Quintal and her husband John of Atkinson, NH, Joseph Cavanaugh of Hampton, NH and Kathleen Cavanaugh Fabrizio and her husband John also of Atkinson, NH. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Lilyana Alonzo, Michaela Alonzo, Morgan Fabrizio, Maxwell Fabrizio and Johnathan Fabrizio.
