Elaine D. Ouellette's Obituary
Elaine D. (Martel) Ouellette, 79, a resident of Haverhill, MA, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at the Hannah Duston Health Care Center in Haverhill.
The daughter of the late Henry and Lillian (Hamel) Martel, Elaine was born in Lawrence, MA and was a graduate of the Bruce School and Lawrence High School. She loved cross stitching, bowling, watching her TV soap operas and game shows and was also an avid reader.
The widow of Frederick Scharn who passed away in 2002, Elaine’s family members include her son James Scharn and his wife Melanie of Atkinson, NH, daughters Lisa Lane of Greenbush, ME, and Laurie Polizzotti and her husband Joe of Sandown, NH. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Elaine was predeceased by her brother Daniel Martel.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury St., Lawrence, MA.
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, MA. Those wishing to process from the funeral home to the cemetery are asked to be at the funeral home no later than 9:30 A.M.
