Eileen T. Dowd's Obituary
Eileen T. Dowd, 59, of Methuen passed away Dec 30, 2019 at the Nevins Nursing & Rehabilitation Centre in Methuen with her family by her side.
Eileen is the daughter of Eileen F. Dowd of Methuen and the late Leonard J. Dowd.
Eileen attended Lawrence Schools. Eileen enjoyed rides to the beach and bike riding. She never passed up an ice cream and she had a laugh that could steal your heart.
Eileen is survived by her siblings Daniel and his wife Jean of Nashua, NH, Joyce and her husband Jake Hansen of Andover, MA, Jack of Portsmouth, NH, Brian and his wife Barbara of Chelmsford, MA, Frank and his wife Kim of Methuen, MA, Sheila Dowd of Methuen, MA, and Rosemary and her husband Mark Manuel of Andover, MA. Eileen is also survived by sixteen nieces and nephews and five great nieces and nephews.
The Dowd Family would like to thank the staff at the Nevins Nursing Home for the wonderful care, love, thoughtfulness, and kindness shown to Eileen and her family for the past eighteen years.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visitation will be on Thursday January 2nd, 2020 at the John Breen Funeral Home, 122 Amesbury St, Lawrence, MA from 9am to 10:30am. Following visitation, friends and family are kindly invited to attend Eileen’s funeral mass at Saint Monica’s Church, 214 Lawrence St, Methuen at 11am. Interment will follow at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nevins Nursing & Rehabilitation Centre in Methuen, MA.
