Eileen B. (Hester) Carpenter, 90, a resident of the Academy Manor Nursing Home in Andover, MA, and formerly of North Andover, MA, passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at the Nursing Home. Born in Lawrence, MA, Mrs. Carpenter was a graduate of both St. Mary's Grammar and High Schools. Mrs. Carpenter was a parishioner of St. Michael's Church in North Andover. The daughter of the late William and Ellen (Murphy) Hester, and the wife of the late Ivon S. Carpenter, members of her family include: sisters: Mary H. David and her husband Albert of Methuen, MA, and Marguerite H. Perrault and her husband Albert of Lawrence, MA, as well as several nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. Mrs. Carpenter was the sister of the late William Hester, Jr. The family would like to thank the staff of the Academy Manor Nursing Home for their exceptional care and kindness to both Eileen and the family.
