Dear Mrs. Lundgren and the entire Lundgren extended family, Please know that all of us at Goodhue & Hawkins Navy Yard in Wolfeboro, NH have the fondest memories of Don and indeed of the entire family. I first met Don and the family in 1984 when he bought a sailboat from me when I first started in business. Over the years I came to realize that the consummate gentleman who first came into my office was every bit the kind and thoughtful man he had at first appeared to be. There are not too many people that fall into that category. I cherish the many interactions we shared together and only regret that we had not sailed more often together. I know that he will be missed by all of you as he will be by us in Wolfeboro. Every once in a while I will look back and remember what a truly gracious man Don Lundgren was and only hope that I could ever attain even half of the class he demonstrated every day we knew him. Thank you for being a small part of my life.
