Donald Blackington's Obituary
Donald Blackington 78, a lifelong resident of Lawrence, died on October 14, 2022, at the Lowell General Hospital.
He was born on March 13, 1944, to Donald and Rita (McAvoy) Blackington. Educated in Lawrence local schools. He worked various jobs throughout the Merrimack Valley. All the way up until his retirement he worked for Lawrence pump in Lawrence, here he worked as a special materials coordinator.
He loved to spend time with his family, also loved to cook and enjoyed outdoor activities especially boating, fishing, golfing and various other activities especially music and dancing as well.
He is the husband of the late Natalie (Venti) Blackington. He leaves his daughter: Tara Blackington of Lawrence. Grand children Mathew Blackington, Serena Casale and Amy Hannula, his sister June Brouillard of Lawrence. God daughter Elaina Del Pozzo of Florida. Predeceased by Dale, Donald, III Blackington and his sister Janet Brouillard.
A funeral service will take place on Saturday October 22nd at 10:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial services will follow at the Immaculate conception cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
