Dianne C. Bradley's Obituary
HAVERHILL, MA and LAKELAND, FL
Dianne Corey Bradley, passed away on August 30, 2024, at the age of 83. She was born on August 26, 1941, to William J. and Grace Doyle Corey. She was the widow of Roger J. Bradley of Haverhill. She was predeceased by her stepdaughters Jill Bradley and Deborah Shockley and her lifelong best friend, Anne Frances Gosselin.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, William J. and Sandra Corey, nephew, Brien Corey, and niece Cheryl Fowler and her husband Chuck and their children Samantha and Kenny. She also leaves behind her cousin William J. O’Brien and his partner Glenna Zalenski.
Other survivors include daughter in law, Renee Matte, stepdaughter Shannon and her family, Ainslie, Neala, Colton Hurley, Stacey Goodwin and Michael Beckner Jr.
She was also loved & missed by Carli and Sean Roberts, Cori and Brian Chisholm and Jessica Martin. Dianne was especially close to the entire Gosselin family, who all loved her dearly and would affectionally called “Muffins” which was her childhood nickname.
Dianne grew up on Tower Hill in Lawrence and attended St. Augustine Grammar School and St. Mary High School. She went onto work for many years at the Pentucket Bank in Haverhill, MA. She supported the Special Olympics and enjoyed reading and spending time with her loved ones.
Her true mission was to carry the development and operations of Liberty Acres Tree Farm which was the dream of her beloved husband Roger. They opened the farm together in the early 80’s growing and selling Christmas trees. They ran it together until his untimely passing, at which point she along with her stepdaughter Jill continued Roger’s legacy and dream of spreading Christmas joy every year at the choose & cut your own farm. Dianne & Jill ran the farm together for over 40 years.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday, September 17th, 2024 from 9:30 to 10:30 in Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish, Saint Augustine's Chapel, 128 Ames Street, Lawrence, MA. Her funeral mass will be celebrated following the wake at 11:00 a.m. in the Church. Burial will take place in Saint Mary's Cemetery in Lawrence, MA. Arrangements are under the direction of the John Breen Memorial Funeral Homes, Lawrence and No. Andover, MA. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Merrimack Valley Hospice.
