Delsy Hernandez de Mendoza, 69, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at her home on August 3, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Constanza, Dominican Republic, Delsy made a life rooted in love, faith, and dedication to her family. She was a devoted member of the Holy Rosary Shrine and cherished her role as a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Virgilio Mendoza; her loving children: Vilmary Mendoza, Sorally Bueno, Jenny Parra, Yolanda Rodriguez, and Tito Mendoza; her dear siblings: Carmen Hernandez, Elida Hernandez, and Antonio Hernandez. Delsy’s legacy continues through her 15 cherished grandchildren and 4 precious great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA. Burial will follow in the Bellevue Cemetery, Lawrence, MA.
Delsy will be remembered for her warmth, her unwavering devotion to her family, and her enduring faith. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will live on in all who knew her.

Nacida en Constanza, República Dominicana, Delsy construyó una vida llena de amor, fe y dedicación a su familia. Fue una miembro devota del Santuario del Santo Rosario y una esposa, madre, abuela y bisabuela entregada.
Le sobreviven su amado esposo, Virgilio Mendoza; sus queridos hijos: Vilmary Mendoza, Sorally Bueno, Jenny Parra, Yolanda Rodríguez y Tito Mendoza; sus amados hermanos: Carmen Hernández, Elida Hernández y Antonio Hernández. Su legado continúa a través de sus 15 nietos y 4 bisnietos, quienes la amaron profundamente.
Familiares y amigos están cordialmente invitados a los actos de velorio el miércoles 6 de agosto de 2025, de 4:30 p.m. a 7:30 p.m. en la Funeraria John Breen Memorial, Inc., 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA. El entierro se llevará a cabo en el Cementerio Bellevue.
