David O. Nelson of Andover departed this world on May 2nd at age 73 surrounded by his family at home. David spent 48 years improving commuter rail services in 24 states and 12 countries. David grew up in Newington, CT, the eldest Read Obituary
Kay and family - so very sorry to learn of David's passing. So many great memories of projects and ideas shared with David. He will certainly be missed, but fondly remembered for his many contributions to the transportation community.
David was a truth teller in the service of getting things done. Finishing the analysis and the report was important, but helping improve the service or save the client was most important to David.
