Clare R. (Winn) Minkle's Obituary
Clare R. (Winn) Minkle, 72, a resident of Salem, NH., passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2010 at the Lawrence General Hospital. Born in Methuen, MA., Clare was a graduate of St. Laurence O'Toole Grammar and St. Mary's High Schools in Lawrence. She then went on to attend Merrimack College. Clare had worked as a Paraprofessional in the Lowell, MA. school system for 10 years retiring in 2006. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren as well as taking trips to the beach. Clare was an attendant of St. Joseph's Church in Salem, NH. The widow of Norman D. Minkle who passed away in 1985 and the daughter of the late Peter V. and Margaret M. (Foley) Winn, members of Clare's family include: sons: David A. Minkle and his wife Helen of Manchester, NH Robert J. Minkle of Salem, NH Christopher J. Minkle of Derry, NH Kevin J. Minkle of Salem, NH and his companion Shari Cote of Amesbury, MA. daughters: Maureen A. Minkle-French and her husband Raymond French of Salem, NH Deborah J. Lennon of Middletown, RI, as well as Donna D. Laliberte and her husband Raymond of Salem, NH a brother: Daniel Winn and his wife Laura of Lewiston, ME. a sister: Jeanne Winn Makem and her husband Robert of Lowell, MA. grandchildren: Rebecca and Patrick Lennon, Eric, Matthew, and Jessica Laliberte, and Hailey, Nicole, and James Minkle, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was also survived by her special friends: Mary Cook and Martin and Marianne McGowan. Clare was predeceased by her brother William J. Winn and son-in-law Geoffrey Lennon. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, January 11, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. in St. Joseph's Church, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery, also in Salem, NH. Family and friends may call on Sunday, January 10, 2010 from 3 to 7 P.M. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury St., Lawrence, MA.
