Clara B. (Haddad) Coutermarsh's Obituary
Clara B. (Haddad) Coutermarsh, 91, of Methuen, Massachusetts passed away on Friday, July 14th, 2017 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill after a brief illness.
She was born on June 22nd, 1926 in Lawrence to the late Joseph Bryan and Martha (Hajjar) Haddad. Clara was educated in the Lawrence Schools and was a graduate of Lawrence High School. She later attended a business school in the area. Clara retired as a Professional from the Boston Registry of Motor Vehicles where she worked for many years.
Clara was an active member of Saint George's Orthodox Church and Choir, she would attend mass everyday and she loved to sing at the church. She shared experiences with her nieces and great nieces such as Yoga classes and Tap Lessons. Clara enjoyed Bowling and was on a League for several years. She especially loved to Golf. According to her family she loved Borrelli's Italian Delicatessen in Methuen, shopping on the Q.V.C. and Coffee and Cookies.

She was predeceased by her brothers and sisters Edward Haddad, Dee Haddad, Edna Haddad, Mary Samia, and George Haddad.
At Clara's request there will be no calling hours. Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, July 22nd, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in Saint George's Orthodox Church in Lawrence, MA. Her burial will follow in the United Lebanese Cemetery in Andover, MA. Arrangements are under the direction of the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., Lawrence and North Andover, MA.
