Dear Fran and Family... We were saddened to hear of the passing of "Auntie Claire". Although she was not related to the family, we always thought of her as our Aunt as well. We will miss her coming to visit next door, but we know that she is in the arms of our Lord, for she was so devoted to Him. Miss Torpey was one of my favorite teachers at Johnson High School. Over the past few years,it has been a pleasure to reminisce with Miss Torpey about her visits to the beach, her cat, her family, former students, and numerous other topics of interest.
