To Claire's family: You do not know me, but your Claire was a best friend of a favorite cousin of mine, Bernie Stockford Hapgood. Mary Finn and I would visit Claire on her birthday [Mary was able to go more often], and we always enjoyed her as she was so with it all the time! Witty and pleasant, she appreciated everyone, I think. My condolences to all of you and many blessings on her new journey.
to Claire's family, I was sorry to read of Claire's death. Since becoming a friend of hers through Bernie, I always enjoyed her company especially our lobster roll luncheons for her birthday.. I'm happy her suffering is over. She and you all are in my prayers. My sympathy. Mary Finn
