Claire T. Cormier's Obituary
Claire T. (Pageau) Cormier, 95, a resident of Andover, MA, and formerly a longtime resident of Lawrence, MA, passed away on Friday, May 31, 2024, at the Lawrence General Hospital. Born in Lawrence, Claire was the daughter of the late Adjutor and Leah (Bennette) Pageau and was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Lawrence. She had worked as an Inspector at Western Electric prior to her retirement. Claire was an attendant of St. Patrick’s Church in Lawrence and prior to that she was a member of Sacred Hearts Church in Lawrence.
Members of Claire’s family include her husband George G. Cormier, a daughter Lynne White and her husband David of Fort Myers, Florida, grandchildren: Vi White of Dorchester, MA, and Dawn Rickman and her husband Jason of Wilmington, N.C., as well as a great-granddaughter Emerson Rickman also of Wilmington, N.C., a sister-in-law Vivian Pageau of Andover, MA, as well as nieces Sandra Pageau of Andover, MA, and Nancy Gibbs and her husband Nick of Manly, Australia. She was predeceased by her son Mark Cormier and her brother Raymond Pageau.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. in St. Patrick’s Church, 118 South Broadway, Lawrence, MA. Attendees are asked to meet directly at the church. A Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, 76 Corbett St., Andover, MA. There are no calling hours.
