Christie Beth (Kennedy) Caesar's Obituary
Christie Beth (Kennedy) Caesar, 65, a resident of Lancaster, MA, passed away in the early morning of February 24, 2017 after a long and courageous battle with Alzheimer?s disease. She was born in Reading Pennsylvania to Donald and Beverly (MacKenzie) Kennedy. After her training as a dancer in Philadelphia and New York City, Christie moved to Cambridge, MA, completing her degree in Early Childhood Education at Leslie University. She taught ballet, jazz and creative movement at the Shady Hill School with Jeannette Neill Studios and at the Institute of Contemporary Dance. Christie?s artistry extended to gardening and as a collector and antiques dealer of Depression Era jewelry and glass which culminated with her management of Upstairs Antiques in Concord, MA. The joy she shared as a gracious host, talented cook and generous gardener are remembered fondly; as a loving wife and mother, she will be cherished forever. Christie is survived by her husband John of Lancaster, MA and her son Ben of North Brookfield, MA. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Sunday, March 5, 2017 from 3 to 4 P.M. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury St., Lawrence, MA. A later memorial gathering will be held in the April 2017 timeframe at the Tower Hill Botanical Garden in Boylston, MA.
