Sincere sympathy to the Brooks Family, especially, Kevin. I remember how sweet your brother was when we used to go to the Howard Playground to watch you and John Bresnahan play baseball. Carol and I were supposed to be keeping an eye on Charles even though your mom had pinned a note to the back of his shirt " please do not feed me. I am a diabetic". Charles was an example of living with Juvanile Diabetes before the medical world caught up and although he is gone too soon, I see that he had a good life with good friends. So sorry. Kathy

My deepest condolences to Donald and the Brooks family I have known Charlie for 27 years Charlie and I became friends when I started at the Internal Revenue back in 1986 Charlie was a security guard then when I left Charlie and I continue to remain friends we would talk on the phone once in awhile, I spoke with him not to long ago to see how he was doing, I know Charlie had been fighting diabetes for years, this is a shock to me he has left us Charlie you were an amazing friend, whom was always there you always had a smile on your face, you were a lot of laughs my friend you will be truly missed Rest in Peace my friend and one day we will meet again.
