Cecile A. (Hebert) Nantel, a resident of the Academy Manor Nursing Home in Andover, MA., and formerly of Pelham, N.H., passed away on Monday, September 29th, 2008 at the Nursing Home. Born in Methuen, MA., Mrs. Nantel was a graduate of St. Ann's High School in Lawrence, MA. She was retired from the Internal Revenue Service in Andover, MA., and was a former parishioner of St. Patrick's Church in Pelham, N.H. The daughter of the late Henri and Rose (Dube) Hebert and the widow of Maurice E. Nantel, family members include: her niece and caregiver: Annette M. LaCroix and her husband Roger of Andover, MA. a brother: Henry Hebert of Haverhill, MA. sisters: Lorraine Dick of Methuen, MA. and Claire Lemay of Enfield, CT., as well as several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Mrs. Nantel was also sister to the late Rita Audy formerly of Lawrence. A Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. in St. Michael's Church in North Andover, MA. Entombment will follow in the Immaculate Conception Chapel Mausoleum in Lawrence, MA. Family and friends may call on Thursday morning from 8:45 to 9:30 A.M at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 35 Merrimack St., North Andover, MA.
