Catherine M. "K" (Taylor) Clegg's Obituary
Mrs. Catherine M. "K" (Taylor) Clegg, 86, of Methuen, Masssachusetts, wife of the late Mr. Perley H. Clegg, Jr, formerly of North Andover, Massachusetts passed away on Tuesday, November 22nd, 2011 at the Lawrence General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 27th, 1924 in Lawrence and is the daughter of the late Edward and Catherine (O'Hara) Taylor. Catherine was educated in the local schools and was a graduate of Lawrence High School. She attended Saint Mary's Church in Lawrence and was a Homemaker. Catherine enjoyed singing, dancing, and music, she also loved the beach and crossword puzzles. According to her family she loved to take walks, play cards and go on family trips back in the 70's to the mountains. Her favorite time spent with her family was going to the Drive-in Movies. Catherine is survuved by her daughters Wendy A. Clegg of Auburn, NH and Joyce C. Roy of Allenstown, NH Her son Perley H. Clegg, III and his wife Catherine M. Clegg of Kingston, NH. She is also survived by her Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and several in laws. Catherine was predeceased by her brothers and sisters: Edward, Harold, Rita, Marion, Elizabeth and Mildred. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to call on Friday, November 25th, 2011 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA.
