Hello, My deepest sympathies go to her close friends and her family. Bernie was one of my grandmother's (Marie Cox) closest friends up until she passed away in 2000. Marynine Stockford was a cousin of my grandmother's. I was very fond of both of them. After Marynine passed away I would contact Bernie on occasion or stop by and bring her coffee or flowers and send her a Christmas card every year to let her know I was always thinking about her. She was a wonderful woman and she will be missed. I had just asked my father last week if he knew how she was because I went by to see her and saw that the house was up for sale.
