I’m so sorry for your loss, Barby was a dear friend. We had so much fun growing up together in Westminster. I’ve thought of her so often over the years. She was always so much fun. I can remember a sleepover at your parents, we were all In the basement and Barby was bouncing around all of us on a big yoga ball, back then I think it was called a hoppity hop. Always fun times with Barby, she will be missed.
Mrs. Kodys used to be my gym teacher all throughout Elementary school, and was the first person to actually get me to like exercise. I was much more of a music girl, and was always worried when I had to kick the ball in front of the whole class, and Mrs. Kodys knew that, so she had the whole class chant my favorite item— “lipgloss”, so I could find the courage to kick in front of everyone. Thank you for that, Mrs. Kodys, I will never forget you.
So very sorry to hear that Barby passed. I had the pleasure of working with her at Sargent and she was such an amazing person, teacher and friend. She will be greatly missed.
Barby was my neighbor and she will be greatly missed. For years she would bring her two dogs to visit with my mother who was very ill. She brought such joy to my mother during her final years. I will never forget that. When my mom passed she was the first person I made sure to tell. She was there for me to talk to. I will miss seeing her walking her two precious dogs but I know my mom is sure happy to see her up in heaven. Rest easy Barby
