Audrey Lynn (Hogya) Todd's Obituary
Audrey L. Todd (Hogya), 65, of Derry, NH passed away peacefully on December 29th, 2020 surrounded by the love of her family.
Audrey was born in Lawrence, MA November 8, 1955, the daughter of the late Emil and Dorothy (Ruffen) Hogya and was a graduate of Lawrence High School. Audrey worked for AT&T, Lucent Technologies in North Andover for 24 years where she started out as a layout operator and retired proudly as a supervisor.
Audrey and her husband, Kevin, shared 44 years of marriage filled with family and love. There marriage was inseparable and they did everything together. The two truly loved each other and then sharing that love with there family.
Audreys first priority was always family. Audrey enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren where she loved being Nana. When the grandchildren were younger she enjoyed Sundays where all the family would gather and swim in the pool and cook on the grill. As her granddaughters got older she looked forward to attending there school functions and sporting events. Audrey also always looked forward to the weekends where she got to see her special grandson Logan. She would look forward to taking day trips with Logan, Kevin and her son where they would always search for another good restaurant to eat. Audrey also loved the holidays because it was a time when family would come together.
Audrey enjoyed supporting organizations including Boston Children’s Hospital for her grandson Logan, Walk To End Alzheimer’s in memory of her parents and the Jimmy Fund Walkathon to which one of her proudest moments was walking the 26.2 miles.
Audrey is survived by her husband of 44 years Kevin of Derry, NH, daughter Melanie and her husband Norman Beauchesne of Salem, NH, sons Brian Todd of Derry NH, Shaun Todd and his wife Sara of Newburyport, MA. Nana will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Colton, Dalton, Alysha, Logan, Alison, Aubrie, Cameron, Charlie, Cory and David.
Audrey was predeceased by her brother Jeffrey whom passed away as an infant.
Audrey will be truly missed by her family as she was the matriarch. A position she cherished, handed down to her after the passing of her mother. Her presence will be missed daily and leaves a void that is irreplaceable.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 6th, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. in Saint Mary's of the Assumption Church in Lawrence, MA. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, MA. The calling hours are private.
