Arthur “Buddy” Robert Murphy, Jr. passed away on September 23, 2023, with his wife and sons following a period of recent illness.
Born in Methuen, MA on August 24th, 1954, Buddy was the son of Mary (Sullivan) and Arthur Robert Murphy.
Buddy attended St. Michael’s School, North Andover, North Andover High School and graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology, Boston, MA.
He is the husband of Janice Murphy and has two sons, Patrick, and Nicholas, who reside in Yerington, Nevada. He is also survived by his siblings Elizabeth (Betty Ann) Sipsey of Salem, NH, Charles Murphy of North Andover, MA, and Thomas Murphy of Andover, MA. Prior to his death, Buddy owned his business, North Andover Glass, until 1982. Thereafter, he opened a business in Salinas, California.
Upon retirement, he and his family moved to Yerington, Nevada.
Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Friday, December 15, 2023, from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 35 Merrimack St., North Andover, MA.
