I was very saddened to hear about the sudden passing of my friend Artie. I met him years ago at the North Andover Knights of Columbus. Each December Artie and I used to dig out a Christmas tree at his farm. I would enjoy the tree in my home during the holidays, then afterwards plant it outside alongside Route 125 northbound in Andover, where there are over a dozen of Artie's trees in a row that provide my yard with privacy, and provide a smile and an "almost home" to commuters in the winter when they are lit up for the holidays. Artie left us all way too soon and will be missed by many.

I met Artie during the summer of 2012, and understood immediately why he has so many good friends here in Vermont, and, I'm sure, many other places. A wonderful, fun-loving, caring man. My deepest condolences to his family. Love ya Artie. You'll be missed.
