Antoine E. "Tony" BouMitri's Obituary
Antoine "Tony" BouMitri, loving husband, loyal father, and proud grandfather "Jido" passed away on Thursday June 29th, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on March 25th, 1946 in Hammana, Lebanon. Tony is preceded by his wife, Therese BouMitri. He is survived by his son, Andre BouMitri, daughter Anabelle Owaida and son in law Robert Owaida. Jido will be missed by his granddaughters Grace, Maya, and Jackie Owaida. In Lebanon, he is survived by his sister Elham Boukhaled, along with many nieces and nephews in the U.S. and in Lebanon.
Tony came to the United States in 1976 to provide his family a better life. He worked in the food industry for over 40 years and owned several businesses. Tony will be remembered for his great storytelling, thoughtfulness, generosity, wit, and sense of humor.
Visitation will be Wednesday July 5th from 5 to 7pm at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA. His funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday July 6th at 11am at Saint Anthony's Maronite Church. PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH, Thank You.
