Anne Marie (Tremblay) Donovan's Obituary
Anne Marie (Tremblay) Donovan, 76, a resident of Lawrence, MA, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, October 27, 2011. Born in Lawrence, Anne was a graduate of both Sacred Heart Grammar and High School in Lawrence. She then went on to receive her Nursing Degree from St. Joseph's in Lowell. She had worked as the Public Health Nurse in Lawrence for many years. Anne was a member of the Massachusetts Association of Public Health Nurses. She had been a member of Sacred Heart Church in Lawrence until it closed, and then became a member of St. Patrick's Church. One of Anne's greatest joys was taking care of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. The widow of Daniel G. Donovan, Sr., members of Anne's family include: her children: William and his wife Jean Donovan of Orange, MA, Margaret and her husband Steven Geldart of Lexington, MA, Brenda and her husband Michael Powell of Haverhill, MA, Mark and his wife Sheila Donovan of Westford, MA, Daniel G. Jr. and his wife Elizabeth Donovan of Windham, NH, Stephen Donovan of Lawrence, MA, and Elizabeth Donovan of North Andover, MA. She is also survived by a brother: Ernest Tremblay of Hampstead, NH, sisters: Madeline St. Aubin of Deltona, FL and Alma Lantagne of Salem, NH, as well as her grandchildren: Timothy, Meagan, and Lauren Donovan, Steven, Katharine, John and Elizabeth Geldart, Jonathan and Adam Donovan, Jennifer Cavanaugh, Michael and Daniel Donovan, Kortney Dugan, and Kaileigh, Kelsey, and Allyson Donovan, great-grandchildren: Mariya and Colton Perry, Daniel and Amaiya Alvarado, and Stephen Ambrose. Anne was predeceased by her son John Donovan as well as her brother Charles Tremblay. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 31, 2011 at 9:00 A.M. in St. Patrick's Church, Lawrence, MA. Burial will follow in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in North Andover, MA. Family and friends may call on Sunday, October 30, 2011 from 4 to 8 P.M. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury St., Lawrence, MA.
