Ann M. Donovan's Obituary
Ann M. (Speechley) Donovan, 81, a resident of Lawrence, MA and previously of Salisbury, MA, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at the M.I. Restorative and Healthcare Center in Lawrence.
Born in Lawrence, Ann was educated in the Lawrence Schools and was a graduate of Lawrence High School. She was last employed at A.A.A. in the North Andover office. Ann was a member of the Salisbury Beach Betterment Association as well as an active member of Star of the Sea Church in Salisbury. She enjoyed her walks on the beach while residing in Salisbury.
The daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Swarbrick) Speechley and the widow of Cornelius J. Donovan, members of Ann’s family include her children: David C. Donovan and his wife Debbie of Londonderry, NH, Martha A. Iannazzo and her husband John of Salisbury, MA, Drew C. Donovan and his wife Linda of York, MA and Matthew C. Donovan and his wife Kelly of Boxford, MA. Ann is also survived by a sister-in-law Jackie Speechley of Lawrence, MA, 10 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandson Justin Donovan and her brother Al Speechley.
