Anastasia Cullen's Obituary
Anastasia Cullen, a cherished resident of Lawrence, MA, passed away on February 15, 2024, at the age of 96. Born on March 9, 1927, she was the beloved daughter of Christopher and Georgia Coconis. Anastasia, born and educated in Lawrence, worked as a seamstress in the Merrimack Valley and at Polo Sportswear in Lawrence. Her family fondly remembers her love for changing curtains at home and her passion for sewing, decorating, cooking and gardening
Anastasia was the late wife of Clarence A. Cullen, whom she met at Arlington Mills in Lawrence. Their inseparable bond and deep friendship were evident as they went everywhere together.
She leaves behind loving daughters Linda Sullivan of Methuen and Susan Cullen of Lawrence. Her grandchildren Kris, Dana, and Brad Sullivan, along with great-grandchildren Satin and Zackery Austin, Neriah, and Matthew Sullivan, as well as great-great-grandchildren Ivory and Caleb Bianchi, all of Methuen, will miss her dearly. She is survived by her sister-in-law Ann Coconis of Lawrence.
Anastasia is predeceased by her brothers Michael, Harry, Charles, and sisters Adele and Helen. The family expresses gratitude to her home health care aide, Awilda Morales, for her kind care and compassion during Anastasia's later years. May her memory bring solace to those who knew and loved her.
Friends and family may call on Wednesday February 21, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM with the service to follow at 11:00 AM at the John Breen memorial Funeral Home Inc. 122 Amesbury St. Lawrence MA 01841 burial services will follow at the Immaculate Conception cemetery in Lawrence.
