Alvira J. Lapinskas' Obituary
Alvira J. Lapinskas, 82, a resident of Bradford, MA, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at Penacook Place in Haverhill.
Born in Lawrence, MA, Alvira was educated in the Lawrence Schools attending the Oliver School and then graduating from Lawrence High School, Class of 1955. She went on to take some courses at North Essex Community College. Alvira had worked in banking for 32 years at many area banks including New England Merchants National Bank, Bank of New England, Andover Bank and then spent 13 years at the North Andover Federal Credit Union. She was an avid reader and enjoyed being with her nephews and niece.
The daughter of the late John P. and Mary (Simelevich) Lapinskas, family members include a sister Joan Garvey and her husband Jay of Bradford, MA, nephews John Garvey and his wife Lenora of Kingston, NH and Jeffrey Garvey of Bradford, MA, and a niece Jamie Garvey of North Andover, MA as well as 3 cousins.
