Altagracia Rodriguez's Obituary
Altagracia Rodriguez, 60, a resident of Lawrence, MA. passed away on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center in Burlington, MA.
The daughter of the late Aura Rodriguez and Juan Antonio Polanco, Altagracia was born in San Francisco de Macoris Dominican Republic and educated in the Dominican Republic and came to Lawrence in 2005. She used to fill barrels with clothing to send to the Dominican Republic for those in need. Altagracia will be remembered for her strength and being the core and foundation of the family. She was known for being truthful and always helping people.
Altagracia is survived by her husband Luis Aracena, sons: Luis Aracena, Jr and his partner Yajayra Baez, Jorge Aracena and his wife Gisbel Aracena, and Jonathan Aracena, a daughter Karena Aracena, and an honorary daughter Yeridine Quezada. She is also survived by many brothers back in the Dominican Republic as well as 7 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
