Allanah M. Murabito's Obituary
Allanah M. Murabito, formally Witzgall aged 87, died on December 1, 2024 after adapting to a
blood disorder and fall with fortitude and endurance. She is predeceased by her husband Alfio
Murabito. Allanah is survived by her daughter, Lise Murabito and grandchildren Rachael
Molander, Matthew Molander and Isabelle Molander.
Allanah graduated from training as a registered nurse from the Lawrence General Hospital in
1958. She worked in many fields of nursing with the most rewarding being addiction treatment
and child and adolescent psychiatric treatment.
Allanah enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was an avid reader and traveled to
many countries in her lifetime. Allanah enjoyed years of volunteering at the Peabody Essex
Museum in Salem, MA. She created many beautiful stained glass pieces which she gifted to
people and organizations important to her. She will be lovingly remembered as someone who
stood up for what she thought was right and fair.
Viewing will be December 6, 2024 from 12-2 at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 35 Merrimack Street, North Andover, Massachusetts, with internment at Ridgewood Cemetery
