Alexis Lorenzo Rosario's Obituary
Alexis Lorenzo Rosario, 31, was our beautiful brother who passed away on Friday, September 10, 2021. Alexis was known for his contagious, outgoing personality and was full of life, love, and humor and who loved to channel that in his music that he was most passionate about. He uplifted any room he walked into and also any person he encountered, which is a rare trait to find. He gave his whole heart to those he felt bonded to and showed nothing but genuine love and support to those he built a connection with regardless if he knew them for a moment in time or for his entire lifetime. Alexis was always devoted to being a loyal son, brother, uncle and friend. He was gentle. He was kind. He was ALWAYS THERE. He was loved by all, and especially adored by his niece and nephew.
Born in Lawrence, MA, Alexis was educated in the Lawrence Public Schools, where he met many lifelong friends... some he considered as brothers. He was also a musical artist known in the industry as, “A-Stax”, who also loved to share his creative vision and make music videos with his nephew, David. He had many fans, but his sister was always his number one fan, and he, hers. Alexis proved to be a family man, and enjoyed their company, even taking the time to bond with his niece playing video games, because he loved to be the fun uncle. He had also loved working as a Lyft and Uber driver in the Boston area, where he was able to meet diverse people, and share his outlook on life, while also learning about theirs. Alexis appreciated all of life's lessons, and used every experience to gain a deeper understanding of life overall.
Members of Alexis’ family include: his mother and her husband, Tomasina Rosario and Rafael Santana, of Lawrence; his father, Domingo Batista, of Lawrence; his sister and her husband, Ana Estrella and David Estrella, of Pelham, NH, and their children, his niece and nephew, Briana and David Estrella. He also grew up with Hiranya Santana, Rocio Santana, and Vincent Santana, of Lawrence, who were like Alexis' siblings. He is also survived by his dog, “Vivi”. Alexis was also the younger brother of the late Algeliz Batista, who passed away in 2011. As much as he gave out love, he was always surrounded by love in return.
Family and friends may call on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. and Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, Massachusetts.
