I was so sad to hear about Al and Salt. Al was a patient in the office that I work for. When he would come in I would always take a few minutes to run down and say "hello" to Salt. I will miss seeing him(and Salt) in the office. Please know your family is in my thoughts. Michelle G.
Our deepest sympathy. I worked with Al in the Bell Labs and enjoyed his company every day. We also attended outside functions together and he was always the best of company and a gentleman. Memories of the Bell Labs Files Department always included Al. Elaine Jop
